Mandarin Teacher for Young Learners

Immerse children in Mandarin culture by creating engaging and meaningful lessons that promote language development.

This is a unique opportunity to make a lasting impact on young learners' lives. The ideal candidate will have a strong command of Mandarin, be able to plan and implement age-appropriate lessons that align with the curriculum, and foster children's love for Mandarin through storytelling, music, and rich language experiences.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Delivering meaningful Mandarin lessons
  • Supporting language development
  • Observing and documenting progress
  • Building positive relationships with families and team members
  • Maintaining a safe and inclusive environment

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Diploma in Early Childhood Care & Education - Teaching (DECCE-T) or equivalent qualification
  • ECDA Certified (L2)
  • Minimum 2 years of relevant preschool teaching experience
  • Strong command of Mandarin (spoken and written)
  • Passionate, caring, and creative approach to engaging young learners
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
