Job Title: KYC Specialist

As a KYC (Know Your Customer) specialist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our company adheres to the highest standards of compliance and regulatory requirements.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Performing thorough KYC reviews to ensure documentation complies with local regulations and standards;
  • Ensuring records are up-to-date and accurate;
  • Highlighting any suspicious product usage from an AML (Anti-Money Laundering) perspective for further review;
  • Assisting in KYC efforts in accordance with established procedures;
  • Client identification, verification, and screening of information;
  • Assisting with enhanced due diligence checks;
  • Partnering with internal units to ensure adequate due diligence processes are carried out for customer accounts and documentation reviews;
  • Sending requests to relevant parties for accounts where information is required to complete the review;
  • Ensuring Quality Control (QC) reviews are done on files prior to submission and responding to or correcting any discrepancies identified during QC reviews;
  • Submitting records for Business Approval once review is complete and responding to or correcting any discrepancies identified during BA reviews;
  • Performing ad hoc duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  • Degree in a relevant discipline;
  • Minimum 2-3 years of experience in Compliance, KYC, or AML;
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills;
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
