Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical professional to join our team as a KYC SOW Specialist. As a key member of our compliance team, you will be responsible for conducting thorough KYC due diligence, analyzing source of wealth (SOW) and funds (SOF), and ensuring that all client onboarding and periodic reviews are compliant with regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities:
  • Conduct in-depth KYC due diligence for new and existing clients, including corporate, private banking, and institutional segments.
  • Analyze and validate SOW narratives and supporting documentation to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Verify SOF where required, maintaining transparency and reasonableness throughout the process.
  • Prepare clear and concise rationales for SOW assessments, adhering to internal policy and regulatory expectations.
  • Identify and escalate potential AML, sanctions, fraud, or reputational risks to senior management or compliance teams as necessary.
  • Collaborate with front office, compliance, and other stakeholders to resolve KYC-related queries efficiently.
  • Stay up-to-date with evolving AML/KYC regulations and SOW standards across relevant jurisdictions.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Law, or a related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in KYC/AML within banking or financial services.
  • Hands-on experience with SOW and SOF validation.
  • Excellent knowledge of CDD/EDD processes and relevant AML regulatory frameworks.
  • Strong analytical, investigative, and documentation skills with attention to detail.
  • Good communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • CAMS or equivalent AML certification preferred.
