Job Title:

Automation Specialist

The role of an Automation Specialist is to deliver technical solutions that meet the needs of customers.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Understand customer requirements, challenges and goals related to automation products.
  • Design, develop and implement technical solutions to meet customer needs.
  • Provide pre-sales and post-sales technical support to customers including troubleshooting, resolving technical issues and answering product-related questions.
  • Prepare technical proposals and product demonstrations.
  • Create technical documentation and training materials.

Skillset:

  • A good foundation in relevant technical fields, such as software development, electrical engineering or mechanical engineering and a strong keen interest in automation.
  • Ability to communicate and manage projects effectively, including planning, execution and monitoring.
  • Ability to adapt and develop PLC and HMI programs to customer's requirements and technologies.
  • Resourceful, organized and maintain good documentation with good interpersonal communication skills.
