Automation Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Automation Specialist to join our team. As an expert in automation systems, you will be responsible for ensuring the optimal performance of various equipment onboard vessels.
Main Responsibilities:- Calibration and Maintenance: Perform annual calibration of portable/fixed gas detectors, pressure and temperature calibrators, UTIs, ACBs, VCBs, boiler level gauges, AUS unloaders, cargo pump separators, OWS and ODME systems, hydraulic services, crane inspections, hatch cover services, windlass/mooring winch brake tests, rescue boat engine services, blast water treatment system maintenance, plate heat exchanger overhauls, boiler repairs, noise and vibration measurements, main engine and auxiliary engine services, engine overhauls, remote control system and pneumatic control system services, governor overhauls, and oil mist detector system overhauls.
- Electric and Automation Services: Provide MSB/ESB/ACB services, fire detection and alarm system maintenance, water mist system services, level gauge and draft gauge system maintenance, valve remote control system services, boiler/incinerator automation services, 15 PPM calibration with certificate, telephone system installation, and MGPS and ICCP system setup.
- Minimum diploma in electronic/electrical engineering or relevant field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in vessel main engine automation systems or related fields.
- Proficiency in relevant engineering principles, hands-on experience with equipment or systems, and good knowledge of electrical systems.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Highly motivated for worldwide support activities (travelling is required).
- Ability to work as a team player, self-motivated and independent.
- Class 3 driving license.
