Debt Capital Markets Origination Role

This senior role involves driving the origination, structuring, and execution of bond offerings in Southeast Asia and Greater China.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Originate, structure, and execute bond offerings (including documentation, due diligence, and investor engagement).
  • Maintain strong relationships with corporate and institutional clients in Southeast Asia and Greater China.
  • Contribute to ongoing business development and idea generation, with active involvement in client pitching and marketing efforts.
  • Provide timely market insights on debt issuance processes, pricing, and investor appetite.
  • Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders, including relationship managers and credit approval teams, to facilitate seamless deal execution.
  • Liaise with regional offices and internal teams globally to grow DCM and cross-border business opportunities.
  • Represent the organization in client meetings, roadshows, and investor discussions when required.
Key Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree or above in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, Accounting, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 4 years of relevant experience in Debt Capital Markets, Investment Banking, or Corporate/Institutional Banking.
  • Strong proficiency in English and Mandarin, to interact with both international and Chinese-speaking clients and internal stakeholders.
  • A proven track record in debt origination, with hands-on experience in deal execution.
  • Strong analytical, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Bloomberg Terminal.
