Chief Security Strategist Job Description

This senior leadership role spearheads the development and implementation of an organization's information security strategy, ensuring alignment with executive objectives and regulatory requirements.

  • Evaluates and recommends new security technologies, processes, and solutions to drive business growth and protect against emerging threats.
  • Leads incident detection, response, and recovery activities in coordination with the Security Operations Centre (SOC) and IT teams to minimize downtime and data loss.

The successful candidate will have a proven track record of managing enterprise security tools (SIEM, EDR, IDS/IPS, firewalls), cloud security (AWS, Azure, GCP), network security, and application security.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Professional certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CISA, CRISC, OSCP, ISO 27001 Lead Auditor or equivalent are strongly preferred.
  • Experience with risk assessments, security audits, and penetration testing is essential.
