Operations Technician Job Description

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Robotics Operations Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our operations department, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our Autonomous Underwater Vehicles (AUVs).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate AUVs for inspecting underwater infrastructure using advanced robotic intelligence.
  • Contribute to the development of concepts for autonomous marine operations.
  • Prepare field equipment before and after deployments.
  • Assist engineering in troubleshooting and resolving on-site and off-site issues.
  • Support electrical and mechanical integration and assembly of parts.
  • Participate in rigorous testing for environmental conditions such as pressure, vibration, EMC-EMI, thermal, and corrosion.

Requirements:

  • Active learner with an interest in autonomous intelligent machines and robots.
  • Practical hands-on experience.
  • Technical certification (NITEC/Diploma).
  • Driver's license.
  • Desirable: Skipper/Steersman/Helmsman license.
