Senior Pricing Strategist

We are seeking an accomplished Senior Pricing Strategist to lead our team in crafting and executing pricing strategies that drive business growth. This role is critical to ensuring our Air and Ocean Freight business remains competitive while maintaining healthy margins.

This individual will oversee the development of a comprehensive pricing framework, collaborating closely with stakeholders to ensure seamless alignment across teams.

  • Develop and implement pricing strategies across multiple products and markets, leveraging data-driven insights to inform decisions.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with cross-functional teams, including sales, procurement, and operations, to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
  • Conduct market research and analysis to stay up-to-date on industry trends and competitor activity.
  • Stay current on market developments, adapting our pricing strategy as needed to remain competitive.
  • Manage and optimize rate cards, FAK structures, and other pricing components to maximize revenue.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in pricing and strategy within freight forwarding, logistics, or shipping.
  • Strong understanding of air and ocean freight cost structures and margin mechanics.
  • Advanced analytical skills, with experience working with large datasets and creating actionable insights.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to influence and collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.
