**About SMITECH ENGINEERING PTE LTD**
We are a leading engineering firm seeking an experienced Office Operations Manager to oversee the smooth operation of our office. This is a full-time position that requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication abilities.
**Job Summary**
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing daily office operations, coordinating administrative tasks, and ensuring seamless workflow between teams. This role involves planning, organizing, and supervising various office activities to maintain efficiency and productivity.
**Responsibilities**
- Manage Office Administration: Oversee daily office administration duties, including record-keeping, filing, and data entry.
- Coordinate Meetings and Events: Schedule meetings, appointments, and events, ensuring efficient use of time and resources.
- Supervise Office Staff: Directly supervise office staff, providing guidance, training, and performance evaluations as needed.
- Maintain Office Supplies and Equipment: Manage inventory, order supplies, and ensure proper functioning of office equipment.
- Ensure Timely Invoicing and Payments: Coordinate with accounting to ensure timely invoicing and payment processing.
- Negotiate Contracts and Prices: Collaborate with vendors to negotiate contracts and prices for office services and supplies.
- Manage Budget and Reporting: Prepare and manage office budgets, ensuring accurate and timely reporting.
**Requirements and Qualifications**
To be considered for this role, you must have:
- Higher NITEC in Business Administration or related field;
- At least 2 years' experience in administrative support, preferably in the construction industry;
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Outlook;
- Able to work independently with minimal supervision;
- Well-organized, initiative, and time management skills;
- Strong organization skills, detail-oriented, and strong multi-tasking abilities.
**Salary:** The estimated salary range for this position is SGD $45,000 - SGD $60,000 per annum, depending on experience.
