About the Role

This position is focused on developing and implementing comprehensive security strategies to safeguard against potential threats. The successful candidate will report directly to the Head of Information Security Architecture and Risk Assessment.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving security standards, designing patterns, and reference architectures that ensure the overall security posture of the organization. They will also need to collaborate with division architects, solution designers, and application teams to develop effective solutions that meet business requirements.

Given the complexity of Singtel's technology ecosystems, the successful candidate must be able to adapt to varying complexities in terms of business requirements, systems, networks, and application architecture. Additionally, they will need to align stakeholders from Singtel IT and Enterprise to adopt common Zero Trust technology components.

Influencing stakeholders to adopt IAM best practices and align with the Zero Trust framework will also be a key responsibility of this role. The specialist should remain up-to-date with information security trends and advise Singtel SG BU on security culture uplift.

Key Responsibilities
  • Drive the execution of Cyber Zero Trust initiatives in Identity, Artificial Intelligence, Cloud, and Network Domains.
  • Review and sign-off on technology and cyber PDM and Demand projects.
  • Develop security guardrails, design patterns, and security reference architectures.
  • Execute Zero Trust security architecture strategy across Singtel IT and Enterprise.
  • Manage the development of complex technical security solutions and stakeholder alignment within budget.
  • Lead difficult Zero Trust discussions with Singtel IT, Group Enterprise Architects, and Enterprise business.
  • Lead information security reference architectures related to Zero Trust for both Singtel IT and Enterprise IT.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent.
  • Minimum 6 years of relevant experience.
  • Experience in Identity and Access Management Architecture.
  • Experience in Zero Trust Security Architecture.
  • Familiarity with industry standards such as NIST, CIS, PCI, etc.
  • One or more industry security certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CCSP, AWS, or Microsoft Azure.
