Job Title: Operations Manager

We are seeking an experienced Operations Manager to oversee the execution of offshore heavy lift projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction, process improvement, and vessel operations.

The Operations Manager will be responsible for supervising shift works between Chinese marine and international construction departments, ensuring seamless communication and coordination between teams. Additionally, the candidate will review procedures and procurement, inspect modules and vessels for installation readiness, and ensure that all supporting spreads are prepared for readiness.

The successful candidate will possess excellent leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and manage a team of professionals. Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work under pressure are essential qualities for this role.

  • Supervise shift works between Chinese marine and international construction departments [liaise with international captain, OCM and field engineer].
  • Focal point for marine-construction communication in Chinese Mandarin, as required.
  • Review procedure and procurement.
  • Inspect modules, sea fastening and barges for installation readiness.
  • Inspect vessel for installation readiness.
  • Inspect supporting spread (e.g. welding, cutting, scaffolding, tools, containers for readiness).
Requirements:

* 3+ months of experience as deck foremen, shift supervisor, or barge foremen in offshore heavy lift works.
* Preference given to candidates with Mandarin Chinese proficiency due to the need to interface in Mandarin.
