Negotiator and Contract Specialist

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Negotiator and Contract Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for analyzing and interpreting client edits to our standard contracts, determining and applying the appropriate edits, and communicating our responses in a clear and concise manner.

You will lead client negotiations, address client concerns, and provide strategic feedback to client requests. Additionally, you will maintain expert knowledge of all commercial contracting templates, applicable fallback language, and acceptable deviations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Analyze and interpret client edits to our standard contracts
  • Determine and apply the appropriate edits to client redlines and requests
  • Communicate our responses, internally and externally, in a clear and concise manner
  • Lead client negotiations, address client concerns, and provide strategic feedback to client requests
  • Maintain expert knowledge of all CAP commercial contracting templates, applicable fallback language, and acceptable deviations
Requirements:
  • Minimum 2–4 years' experience in negotiating commercial contracts or equivalent experience
  • Strong analytical skills and a detail-oriented approach
  • Proficient in MS Suite
  • Experience with Salesforce
  • Conga CLM experience
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Ability to coordinate and fulfill multiple tasks within timelines by following established procedures in a fast-paced environment
  • Sense of urgency when completing assigned tasks
  • Good interpersonal skills and ability to interact with colleagues across functions worldwide
