About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Brand & Strategy Consultant to join our team at Fifth Ring. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and executing marketing and brand management strategies that drive business growth and success.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement marketing and brand management strategies that align with the company's overall business objectives.
  • Partner with internal stakeholders to execute various marketing deliverables and ensure seamless project execution.
  • Conduct qualitative and quantitative research to identify prospective brand positioning traits and market trends.
  • Facilitate brand strategy sessions with client leadership to obtain relevant information and build consensus.
  • Work closely with B&S and Creative colleagues to develop and present unique brand insights, craft brand architecture, and create compelling brand narratives.
  • Support or lead in B&S presentation sessions and be a robust defender of the agency's values, people, and commercial interests.
Requirements
  • At least 5 years of experience as a Brand Strategist or in a similar role developing branding and marketing strategies for clients.
  • Proficient B2B marketing communications experience, preferably from an agency setting.
  • Portfolio of brand-building projects, ideally for B2B clients.
  • Presentation skills experience, both written and in person, as well as executive facilitation skills.
  • A proven consultancy headset, including data gathering, interpretation, analysis, and presentation skills.
  • Effective customer and stakeholder relationship management skills, including active listening and troubleshooting.
  • Strong written and verbal English communication skills.
  • Bachelors' Degree qualified, ideally in strategy, communications, public relations, marketing communications, business management, psychology, or a related subject.
Desirable Skills
  • Commercial / financial skills, including agreement negotiation and fiscal prudence.
  • Project management experience.
  • Content marketing experience.
  • Relevant target industry knowledge, including but not limited to energy, technology, and manufacturing.
