Job Summary

MIJ HUB LTD. is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Centre Supervisor to manage the day-to-day operations of our programs for Special Needs Individuals. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing, recommending, and administering policies, procedures, and processes in support of Centre operations.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Program Management: Plan, organize, maintain, and manage the operations of Early Intervention Preparatory and Student Care programs for students with special needs.
  2. Policy Development: Develop, recommend, and administer policies, procedures, and processes in support of the different programs' operations; implement and monitor compliance with approved policies, procedures, and processes.
  3. Communication and Collaboration: Participate in/on a variety of meetings, committees, task forces, and/or other related groups to communicate information regarding services, programs, areas of opportunity, and/or other pertinent information as appropriate.
  4. Class and Activity Planning: Organize, plan, and schedule classes, as well as activities for the holiday programs.
  5. Teacher Support: Manage teachers' responsibilities and mentor teachers to help them understand the processes, approaches to teaching in the different programs.
  6. Logistics and Scheduling: Coordinate arrivals and pick-up schedules with bus drivers on a daily basis.
  7. Parent Liaison: Liaise with parents on matters regarding student affairs, teaching, and learning issues.
  8. Student Support: Attend to Student-Parent matters with regards to student's academic and behavioral attitudes and achievements.
Requirements
  • At least 2 years of relevant experience in managing a Student Care Centre, Childcare Centre, Kindergarten, or Day Activity Centre.
  • Polytechnic Diploma and above.
  • Possess good communication skills.
  • Meticulous and able to multi-task.
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment.
