Viral Disease Specialist

This role involves leading research efforts in developing antiviral drugs and vaccines against various viral diseases.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop protocols for virus handling and maintenance.
  • Culture cells and generate stable cell lines.
  • Detect and quantify virions, viral genome, and/or viral proteins.
  • Evaluate the immune responses of small animals infected by viruses.
  • Analyse data and prepare reports.

Requirements:

  • Master's or Bachelor's degree in immunology, microbiology, virology, or a related field.
  • Experience in animal and virus handling is advantageous.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative research team.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills.

As a senior specialist, you will contribute to the development of innovative treatments and provide expert advice to the team. You will also participate in scientific conferences and collaborations to stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in the field.
