Environmental Health and Safety Specialist

As an EHS Officer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the health and safety of our employees and contractors on-site. Your responsibilities will include conducting regular site inspections, managing the Permit-to-Work system, and enforcing compliance with regulatory requirements.

In addition to these duties, you will be responsible for preparing and submitting reports on safety performance, investigating incidents and near misses, and maintaining accurate records of all safety-related activities. You will also be expected to conduct EHS training sessions for new employees, subcontractors, and visitors, as well as coordinate with site leadership to ensure that all safety protocols are being followed.

To succeed in this role, you must have a strong understanding of environmental science, occupational health and safety principles, and relevant legislation. You should also possess excellent communication and documentation skills, as well as the ability to work independently and manage emergencies effectively.

A Diploma or Degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Health and Safety, Engineering, or a related discipline is required for this position. Familiarity with Singapore's WSH regulations (WSHA), environmental laws, and pollution control measures is highly desirable. Skilled professionals with risk assessments, hazard identification, and incident investigations experience will be preferred.
