About this Role

As a key business development partner, you will drive growth in new channels by identifying major customer opportunities.

Owning the complete category strategy, defining product range, brand positioning, and quality/price ladder to align with customer needs is crucial for success.

  • Develop a deep understanding of market dynamics, including supply chains, competitors, and commodity impacts.
  • Identify new products and suppliers to fill range gaps and capitalize on growth opportunities.
  • Collaborate with sales and procurement teams to execute promotional activities that drive sales momentum.
  • Develop product training programs for sales and customer service teams.
  • Support customers with menu and product innovation to reduce labour, save time, and lower food costs.

About the Manager/Team

You will report directly to the Head of Business Development. This role is highly collaborative, positioning you as a key partner to sales and procurement teams.

Skills and Experience Required

  • Bachelor Degree / Diploma in Business or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years in Business Development / Sales within food industry.
  • Experience in developing and executing category strategies, including product ranging and pricing.
  • Experience in identifying new business opportunities and suppliers.
  • The capability to develop and deliver product training programs.
