Job Title: Director of Equity and Inclusion

Job Summary:

Teach For All is seeking a Director of Equity and Inclusion to lead our diversity, equity, and inclusion efforts, foster belonging among staff, develop DEI capabilities across our global team, and ensure our systems and practices are equitable and inclusive.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and facilitate organization-wide learning experiences, reflection spaces, and structured fellowships to promote equity and inclusion.
  • Provide coaching and consulting to teams, individuals, and senior leadership to support their growth and development in equity and inclusion.
  • Collaborate with executive leadership, team leads, and the People Circle to integrate equity into our work and track progress on key diversity and inclusion metrics.
  • Develop and implement a plan to focus on equity and inclusion, including strategies for reflection spaces, learning experiences, and leadership development for diverse staff.
  • Collect and analyze data and feedback to continuously improve our equity practices and refine our systems and processes.
Requirements:
  • Strategic Leadership: Ability to envision and articulate a strategic direction for advancing diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) within a global organization.
  • Relationship Building: Demonstrates a deep and authentic ability to build relationships, fostering trust and open communication to support individuals and teams in their growth and development, particularly around equity and inclusion.
  • Global Perspective: Ability to create inclusive environments where all individuals feel valued and respected across different cultural contexts and international settings.
  • Collaboration: Strong ability to partner with various teams, executives, and staff members to foster a culture of equity and inclusion.
  • Flexibility: Ability to navigate and lead through complex, changing environments while maintaining a focus on equity and inclusion.
  • Design and Facilitation: Proficient in designing and facilitating impactful learning experiences, workshops, and reflection spaces for diverse audiences.
  • Coaching: Ability to support individuals and teams to integrate equity into their work and navigate difficult conversations.
  • Commitment to Vision and Values: Deep belief in Teach For All's vision and core values, with a passion for fostering diversity, equity, and inclusion as fundamental components of educational equity.
What We Offer:

Salary for this position is competitive and dependent on country of hire, prior work experience, and includes a comprehensive benefits package.

Please note, this position is not eligible for employment visa sponsorship. All candidates must possess local permanent work authorization/permit in order to be considered.

Travel is possible when it is safe to do so and in accordance with local travel guidelines. Given that we work across different time zones, some non-traditional hours for early or later calls are an expectation of this role.
