Job Summary

Lead Financial Operations for Private Equity

SS&C Technologies Holdings is seeking a highly skilled Senior Financial Analyst to join our team. As a key member of our Private Equity group, you will be responsible for leading financial operations, including financial reporting, accounting, and compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a team of financial analysts to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting and compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Develop and implement financial models and processes to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement process improvements.
  • Provide financial guidance and support to senior management and other stakeholders.
  • Ensure adherence to financial policies and procedures, and maintain a high level of financial control and governance.
  • Financial Reporting:
    • Prepare and review financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
    • Develop and maintain financial models and forecasts to support business decisions.
    • Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting to stakeholders, including investors and regulatory bodies.
  • Accounting and Compliance:
    • Ensure compliance with financial regulations and laws, including GAAP and IFRS.
    • Develop and implement accounting policies and procedures to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
    • Collaborate with external auditors to ensure smooth audit processes.
  • Team Management:
    • Lead and manage a team of financial analysts to achieve business objectives.
    • Develop and implement training programs to enhance team skills and knowledge.
    • Provide coaching and mentoring to team members to ensure career development and growth.

Requirements:

  • 7-9 years of experience in financial operations, with a focus on private equity.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in people management and team leadership.
  • Strong knowledge of financial regulations and laws, including GAAP and IFRS.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to develop and implement financial models and processes.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, with a focus on Excel skills.
  • Experience with financial software and systems, including Investran.
