Position Overview

We are seeking a motivated individual to join our Singapore office, working closely with the Senior Director of Private Equity. This role is essential in supporting our international Private Equity team to meet investment objectives and manage our portfolio effectively. You will play a key role in enhancing returns, collaborating on investment transactions, and conducting thorough monitoring of portfolio entities to drive value creation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in the selection of investment files and the preparation of preliminary analyses and recommendations.
  • Support senior colleagues with financial modeling tasks.
  • Generate and maintain internal reports.
  • Conduct comprehensive analyses of financial statements of target companies and perform detailed competitive assessments.
  • Assist team members in meetings and discussions with current and prospective partners.
  • Perform extensive research on industry trends and develop effective monitoring mechanisms.
  • Create targeted sector studies to identify potential markets for development.
  • Contribute to the enhancement of processes and information management.
  • Support senior team members in portfolio management to add value.

Qualifications

  • Must be a citizen or permanent resident of Singapore.
  • At least two (2) years of experience in finance or investment sectors.
  • Bachelor's degree in business, finance, economics, or accounting from a recognized institution.
  • A Master's degree in finance and/or CFA designation is preferred.
  • Strong analytical capabilities and proficiency in financial modeling.
  • Familiarity with financial market tools (Excel, Capital IQ, ThomsonOne, Bloomberg, etc.).
  • Knowledge of Japanese and/or Indian markets is a significant advantage.
  • Fluency in English is required; proficiency in Japanese or Hindi is a considerable asset.
  • Proficiency in Japanese or Korean is also a major asset.
  • Willingness to travel internationally on a frequent basis.
