Job Title: Executive Pastry Specialist

We are seeking an experienced and skilled pastry specialist to join our team. As an executive pastry specialist, you will be responsible for the daily production of cakes, bread, and hot food.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in baking and pastry arts, with excellent knowledge of ingredients, cooking techniques, and presentation styles. You will work closely with our chefs and kitchen staff to create delicious and visually appealing dishes for our customers.

In addition to your culinary skills, you will also be responsible for maintaining high standards of safety, health, and hygiene in the kitchen. This includes ensuring that all workstations are clean and tidy, equipment is well-maintained, and food is handled and stored properly.

You will also be responsible for monitoring production schedules to determine the variety and quantity of goods to bake, as well as keeping records of deliveries, inventory, and production levels.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and execute daily production of cakes, bread, and hot food

  • Clean and maintain equipment and tools
  • Test ingredients and finished goods to ensure quality control

Requirements:

  • Strong background in baking and pastry arts
  • Excellent knowledge of ingredients, cooking techniques, and presentation styles
  • Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in culinary arts or related field preferred
