Job Description

As a Field Service Engineer, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing marine Generators. This is an exciting opportunity to develop your technical skills and work closely with customers to resolve issues.

This role requires a strong background in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering, preferably with experience in commissioning, troubleshooting, and repair of marine Generators. You will be working as part of a dynamic team to ensure the highest level of customer satisfaction.

The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of electrical and control systems, including John Deere ECU and KDI ECU, as well as synchronization systems.

">Commissioning, troubleshooting, and repair of marine GeneratorsProviding after-sales technical support and maintenance responsibilities to distributors/end customersGenerating service reports in a systematic mannerInvestigating and handling customer complaints related to product failuresReviewing and assisting in determining the extent of damage and repairs of warranty claims from distributorsMaintaining close working relationships with key customers until issues are resolvedDeveloping service training material and ensuring all technical documents are up-to-date and organizedProviding specific training to distributors and dealers for service and troubleshooting skills Requirements

To be considered for this role, you will need to possess the following qualifications:

  • Diploma or degree in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering with at least 5 years of relevant experience
  • Ability to travel frequently within the Asia Pacific and Southeast Asia Region
  • Prior electrical and control experience with various control systems (John Deere ECU and KDI ECU) and synchronization systems is advantageous
