Job Opportunity: Cost Control Specialist

We are seeking a skilled professional to oversee all project cost aspects from pre-tender through completion. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical, negotiation, and communication skills, with a proven track record in earthworks and demolition projects.

  • Prepare accurate cost estimates, budgets, and tender submissions for earthworks and demolition projects.

  • Conduct thorough measurement, quantification, and preparation of Bills of Quantities (BQ) for civil and demolition works.

  • Evaluate subcontractor quotations and negotiate terms to ensure cost-effectiveness.

  • Monitor and control project costs, including managing variations and preparing progress claims.

  • Liaise with clients, consultants, and project teams to ensure alignment on scope, budget, and timelines.

  • Prepare and submit final accounts and settlement documentation.

Requirements:

  • Degree in Quantity Surveying, Building, Civil Engineering, or related field.

  • Minimum 2 years' relevant experience in earthworks and demolition projects in Singapore.

  • Strong knowledge of Singapore's construction regulations, codes, and tender processes.

  • Proficiency in MS Office and QS software.

  • Excellent analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.

  • Self-motivated with strong attention to detail.
