Job Summary

  • We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Monitoring Specialist to join our team.

About the Role

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in managing geotechnical instrumentation works, including installation and monitoring. He/She will be responsible for ensuring our instruments are prepared, installed, and commissioned to the best level of quality required for a successful monitoring scheme.

Key Responsibilities

  • Site work will involve installing structural, ground, and environmental monitoring systems in accordance with construction drawings and design specifications.
  • Installation, programming, and commissioning data loggers and telemetry devices; maintaining installation records and promoting a safe workplace with zero harm.

Office & Site based work will involve:

  • Coordinating and leading a team of engineers and technical officers to manage geotechnical instrumentation works.
  • Oversight of all instrumentation works including method statements, project quality plans, calibration, installation, data acquisition, data verification, data processing, web databases, data presentation, and reporting.
  • Designing, setting up, and maintaining instrumentation databases.

Necessary Skills & Qualifications

  • Relevant Degree in Engineering.
  • Min. 6 years and above hands-on experience in managing instrumentation and monitoring works on civil engineering projects.
  • Class 3 driving license.
  • Registered Earthworks Supervisor certificate.
  • Construction Safety course for Project Managers.
