Job Title: Medical Equipment Support Specialist

Description:

We are seeking a skilled Medical Equipment Support Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our technical support team, you will be responsible for providing on-site technical support to customers and internal teams.

This role involves installing, upgrading, repairing, and maintaining complex medical instrument systems. You will also maintain up-to-date knowledge using service manuals, SOPs, and remote connectivity, manage service inventory to ensure first-time fix performance, collaborate with sales and marketing teams to support system placements and promotional efforts, build strong relationships with key clients to support the success of their systems, provide resolution for technical issues while maintaining excellent customer satisfaction, perform qualification and validation procedures at customer sites, and coordinate new system installations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver timely on-site technical support to customers and internal teams.
  • Install, upgrade, repair, and maintain complex medical instrument systems.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge using service manuals, SOPs, and remote connectivity.
  • Manage service inventory to ensure first-time fix performance.
  • Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to support system placements and promotional efforts.
  • Build strong relationships with key clients to support the success of their systems.
  • Provide resolution for technical issues while maintaining excellent customer satisfaction.
  • Perform qualification and validation procedures at customer sites.
  • Coordinate and execute new system installations, including facility readiness assessments.
Requirements:
  • Degree in Engineering (Electrical, Electronics, Biomedical, Mechanical, or related disciplines).
  • Experience servicing medical devices or analytical/laboratory instruments.
  • Strong technical troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities.
  • Basic knowledge of laboratory best practices and safety protocols.
  • Candidate-oriented mindset with a commitment to service excellence.
