Medical Equipment Support Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Medical Equipment Support Specialist to join our team. This role involves providing technical assistance to healthcare staff in the setup, operation, servicing, and decommissioning of medical devices.
- Provide technical support to healthcare staff on medical equipment installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
- Oversee external service providers and contractors performing equipment maintenance, ensuring high-quality work and adherence to relevant standards.
- Gather user feedback on equipment performance and quality, analyzing data to inform improvement initiatives.
- Inspect and troubleshoot reported faults or safety issues, collaborating with engineers to develop corrective actions.
- Evaluate maintenance work against industry standards, departmental quality initiatives, and best practices.
- Manage spare parts inventory, ensuring timely replenishment and documentation.
- Support engineers in coordinating equipment projects with vendors, contractors, and consultants.
- Diploma in Electronics or Biomedical Engineering.
- 3-5 years of experience in a healthcare environment is an advantage.
- Service-oriented mindset, positive attitude, and ability to interact effectively with staff at all levels.
- Basic proficiency in IT applications.
