Business Development Professional - SME Finance Specialist

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced business development professional to strengthen our small and medium-sized enterprise (SME) loan portfolio through strategic partnerships with intermediaries and client-centric financing solutions.

As a Business Development Professional - SME Finance Specialist, you will be responsible for cultivating strong relationships with brokers, business advisors, and other key stakeholders to drive consistent loan referrals.

You will act as a trusted advisor to SME clients, understanding their financial needs, evaluating their creditworthiness, and offering tailored loan options.

In this role, you will facilitate the end-to-end loan process, including documentation, initial assessments, and coordination with credit teams.

You will maintain oversight of active loan accounts, ensuring timely payments and early detection of potential risks.

Collaboration with Collections and Risk teams is essential to manage overdue accounts and mitigate exposure.

Additionally, you will provide advisory support to clients on cash flow planning, funding strategies, and sustainable financial practices.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with intermediaries, such as brokers and business advisors.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to SME clients, understanding their financial needs and offering tailored loan options.
