Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement strategies to identify and pursue new business opportunities
  • Negotiate and finalize terms for collaboration with partners on mutually beneficial initiatives
  • Ensure effective implementation and management of partnerships through robust governance and oversight
  • Monitor and evaluate the impact of partnerships on our academic programs, applied research initiatives, and community engagement efforts
  • Conduct long-term horizon scanning to identify industry and market trends relevant to our educational and research focus areas

Requirements:

  • Tertiary degree with at least 3 years of relevant work experience in strategic planning, business development, partnership and account management, or a similar role
  • Relevant background within the semiconductor industry and/or government sector would be advantageous
  • Ability to traverse and be conversant in various industry verticals
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize tasks, and deliver timely results
  • Strong interpersonal skills to foster and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including industry leaders, government officials, and academic faculty
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and address issues proactively
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively convey complex information and ideas to diverse audiences
  • Collaborative approach to work, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
