Job Description

As a Senior Software Engineer, you will be part of a dynamic project team focused on developing cutting-edge Security solutions for Homeland Security, Smart Cities, and Critical Infrastructures. Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Designing and implementing technical solutions that meet product/functional specifications.
  • Collaborating with product/solution architects to develop and maintain the product/solution development roadmap.
  • Ensuring all work adheres to client software development methodologies and processes.
  • Providing thorough documentation to ensure usability, supportability, and maintainability of developed systems.

You will also provide strong and timely support to IVVQ teams and site deployment, operation, and maintenance to ensure 24/7 system operational needs are met.

Additionally, your experience in leading software teams is highly valued, but not essential.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you must possess:

  • At least 5 years of hands-on experience with full web application development lifecycle of scalable micro-services-based architectures.
  • Expert knowledge of tools, best practices, continuous deployment, dependency/complexity management, scale/performance tuning, monitoring, resiliency, etc.
  • Strong knowledge of architectural styles and design patterns.

Proficiency in at least one of the following programming languages/frameworks: C#, .NET, Java, Spring boot.

Experience with relational databases, virtualization, containerization, Docker, Kubernetes, and other relevant technologies is highly desirable.
