Conference Manager Role Overview

The primary objective of this position is to organize, execute and manage conferences efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate with vendors to determine costs and ensure timely delivery of conference materials.
  • Develop project timelines and budgets to guarantee a smooth conference experience.
  • Oversee site work and vendor deliverables to ensure high-quality results.
  • Collaborate with designers and webmasters to track progress and ensure accurate delivery of marketing collateral.
  • Coordinate audio-visual needs, ensuring all equipment and supplies are in place and functioning properly.
  • Develop registration and check-in procedures for participants.
  • Act as the client liaison and be accountable for all project deliverables.
Requirements:
  • Event management degree or diploma preferred.
  • Proven ability to work under tight deadlines.
  • Strong time management and goal-oriented skills.
  • Ability to learn and adapt quickly.
  • Innovative individual with excellent English communication skills.
  • Good comprehension of conference matters.
  • Minimum 2 years of relevant working experience preferred.
