Job Title: Project Delivery Manager


About the Role

The Technical Manager will oversee the project delivery of the LTA MRT project, ensuring timely completion within established guidelines. Key responsibilities include:


  • Managing consultants to deliver designs on time and within budget
  • Handling client and consultant interactions, including coordination and submissions
  • Overseeing shop drawings submission and issuance, as well as monitoring progress and controlling delivery schedules
  • Collaborating with construction and other departments to fulfill project requirements
  • Resolving technical queries and submitting/Raising Request for Approval/Information (RFA/I) to clarify ambiguous design details
  • Reviewing technical specifications and proposals submitted by consultants/subcontractors/suppliers and producing procurement specifications

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you should have:


  • A degree in Civil Engineering from a recognized university endorsed by PE Board or qualification acceptable to the Commissioner of Building Control
  • At least 12 years of engineering experience, with at least 8 years in project management of civil and infrastructure projects
  • Extensive experience in a construction environment, demonstrating accountability and ability to meet commitments through key internal stakeholders, clients, and staff at all levels
  • Technical expertise and knowledge in Structural, Architectural Design
  • A proven track record of managing teams and delivering projects from start to hand-over
