**Job Title:** Campus Safety Officer

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist the Discipline Management Team in enforcing campus rules and regulations, focusing on tobacco and vaping-related offences.
  • Conduct regular patrols and monitor high-risk areas to prevent misconduct.
  • Enforce smoking, tobacco possession, and vaping rules, as well as other disciplinary matters.
  • Respond to incidents of misconduct, document key details, and provide statements when required.
  • Coordinate with evening security personnel to ensure continuous coverage during evening classes.
  • Collect evidence and prepare statements using approved tools and systems.
  • Provide assistance to individuals in distress until help arrives; first aid certification is advantageous.
  • Participate in joint operations with external agencies and contribute to enforcement strategy improvements.
  • Attend training sessions to stay updated on enforcement practices and campus safety protocols.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Proficient in English (reading, writing, and communication).
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to manage offenders effectively.
  • Physical fitness to conduct extended patrols and respond to incidents.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Willingness to work rotating shifts.
  • Minimum 'N' Level qualification or equivalent preferred.
  • Prior experience in security, enforcement, or military/police roles is advantageous.
  • Excellent observation skills and attention to detail.
Working Hours:

12:00pm - 09:00pm, Mon - Fri

This is an hourly paid position. Please note that working hours may vary.
