Job Title: In-House Legal Counsel
This role involves providing legal guidance and advice to the organization on all aspects of law and regulations.
The position holder will be responsible for drafting, reviewing, and negotiating commercial contracts, as well as developing and updating relevant templates and standard terms and conditions.
They will also lead the legal assistance on business development activities, including mergers and acquisitions, divestments, and acquisitions of shares or assets.
In addition, they will be in charge of corporate secretarial matters, including incorporation of companies, corporate secretarial, business registration, and renewal matters.
The ideal candidate will have a degree in law (LLB) from a recognized university and be called to the Singapore bar.
They should have a minimum of 8-12 years of experience in either a law firm or as a legal counsel, with expertise in mergers and acquisitions, general corporate law, and litigation.
Good communication and interpersonal skills are essential for this role, as they will work closely with various teams, including business, finance, and tax.
