Global leader in athletic apparel production seeks visionary Sales & Operations Planning Manager to drive business growth and exceptional customer satisfaction.

About the Role

This critical leadership position is responsible for aligning sales forecasts, production capabilities, and inventory targets. You will lead the global S&OP strategy, optimizing production across manufacturing facilities and a network of external suppliers.

The ideal candidate has 10+ years of experience in sales operations, supply chain planning, or a similar role within garment manufacturing, with at least 5 years in a leadership position. Experience in the sportswear or outdoor apparel industry is strongly preferred.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Develop and execute the company's S&OP strategy, leading weekly and monthly meetings with key stakeholders across Sales, Marketing, Finance, and Production.
  2. Dynamically adjust production plans based on customer orders, capacity, and raw material availability.
  3. Use advanced data analysis to identify market trends, forecast demand, and provide actionable insights to senior leadership.
  4. Implement continuous improvement initiatives and digital transformation projects to modernize planning tools and systems.
  5. Mentor and manage a team of planning professionals, fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.
Requirements

Proven experience with S&OP, demand forecasting, and inventory management. Proficient in production planning and data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, Power BI) and experienced with ERP systems. A strategic thinker with exceptional cross-functional communication and conflict-resolution skills.
