Job Description

As a Commercial Executive, you will be responsible for preparing and submitting quotations for ship repair and modification projects. You will also manage follow-ups with vessels from assigned market segments or regions.

To achieve this, you will review ship repair specifications to clearly understand the owner's requirements and prepare competitive quotations accordingly. You will attend ship inspections and engage in discussions with the owner's representatives to clarify the scope of work.

You will coordinate with subcontractors to negotiate for better pricing and gather information from the Project Team on any required additional work. Additionally, you will follow up with vessel owners after quotation submission to secure projects.

Furthermore, you will host and maintain relationships with owners and superintendents when they are visiting the yard. This includes participating in sales meetings and tender clarification sessions for ongoing business development.

Your role will also involve conducting sales visits focused on targeted market segments. To be successful in this position, you must have strong technical knowledge in relevant trades and possess proactive, responsible, and customer-focused skills.

Able to work effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines, you will be a collaborative team player with a strong sense of commitment and professionalism.
