Job Description

As a seasoned Ship Repair Supervisor, you will lead a skilled team in fulfilling complex ship repair projects, both on-site and at our state-of-the-art shipyard. Your exceptional leadership skills and technical expertise will ensure seamless project execution.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent mechanical knowledge, with experience in troubleshooting and maintaining various shipboard equipment. Strong communication and problem-solving skills are also essential for this role.

You will be responsible for:

  • Planning and executing repair jobs in the most cost-effective manner
  • Maintaining high safety standards and adhering to regulatory requirements
  • Coordinating with team members to ensure efficient project completion
  • Collaborating with project managers to prioritize tasks and allocate resources

Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this challenging role, you must have:

  • A diploma or certificate in Marine Engineering or a related field
  • A minimum of 3 years' relevant working experience in a similar position
  • Excellent mechanical knowledge and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to read drawings and write service reports using PC or tablet
  • Familiarity with safety regulations and permit-to-work systems
