About this role

We are looking for a Quality Assurance Specialist to work in our production team. This full-time position will be responsible for ensuring the quality and safety standards of our operations.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Conducting daily operational checks on flux, paste, powder, and wire in-process quality
  • Checking critical quality attributes such as viscosity, metal content, water content, acid number, halide content, oxygen and carbon content, PSD, spark alloy composition, and diameter measurement
  • Performing simple application tests like Thinky, dispensing, and printing assessment
  • Accurately recording data into Excel, MES, and SAP systems
  • Releasing purchase orders for shipment and ensuring product labels meet customer requirements
  • Creating additional Certificate of Analysis required by customers
  • Performing incoming quality checks for raw materials, metal alloys, metal powders, and flux
  • Checking CTQs like FTIR, viscosity, water content, acid number, appearance, oxygen content, and PSD
  • Ensuring supplier COA is available and checking against specifications before uploading into SAP system
  • Performing outgoing checks according to failure catalog before shipment
  • Data entry into SQCpack software for SPC monitoring and alerting engineers for any out-of-control data points
  • Scanning quality worksheets for data archiving and ensuring traceability
  • Supporting engineers for ad-hoc testing
  • Maintaining a clean and organized work area, including 5S documentation, sample storage, and scrap disposal

Requirements for this role include:

  • A minimum O level or above
  • At least 2 years relevant working experience in a laboratory
  • Experience with viscometer, titrator, oxygen analyzer is advantageous
  • Knowledge of Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) and Environmental Management System (EMS)
