Job Summary:
The Commercial Manager plays a pivotal role in maintaining and developing the company's contractual relationships with Suppliers and Service Providers. Reporting to the Director/Commercial Senior Manager, this individual will collaborate with the team to execute projects and tasks as assigned.
Key Responsibilities:
- Liaise with the Legal Department to ensure compliance with Suppliers' and Members' agreements.
- Prepare and submit addendums to existing contract agreements as required.
- Review and approve the completion of Members Request Forms, Supplier Request Forms, and Supplier Application Forms.
- Monitor and report on evaluations received from Members on contracted Suppliers.
- Maintain and control Suppliers and Members Contract database with contracts' expiration dates.
- Develop and maintain a database of priority criteria for tender evaluation and supplier selection.
- Support Directors in preparing tender documents and sending them to Suppliers.
- Conduct market benchmarking to ensure the company obtains the best prices and terms.
- Verify and negotiate tenders with Suppliers.
- Manage the contract management cycle and process.
- Develop and maintain a system to evaluate Suppliers and ensure quality, price, delivery, and service.
- Handle complaints from Members and Suppliers as instructed by Directors.
- Review and present statistical data on activity with contracted Suppliers.
- Ensure timely preparation and submission of monthly turnover reports.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Economics, Supply Chain, or a related field.
- More than 5 years of experience in Procurement/Commercial Management/Supply Chain Management.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs and English language.
Competencies:
- Strong leadership skills.
- Effective communication and problem-solving abilities.
- Good organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks.
- Customer focus and teamwork skills.
