Key Assembly Technician

This role involves performing a wide range of mechanical assembly operations to support production projects.

  • Assemble, modify, rework, and/or reassemble production components using drawing, pick tickets, process documentation, and/or verbal instruction.
  • Prepare and utilize basic hand tools and machines including power screwdriver, ruler, solder iron, clamp machine, heat gun, solder pot, crimpers, pinning machine, and automatic wire strippers.
  • Clean parts prior to production use as required.
  • Identify wires using the basic color code sequence.
  • Participate in first-time production runs of new products.
  • Support cycle count activity, inventory handling, and inventory transactions following established material procedures.
  • Participate in continuous improvement and team-building activities; maintain productive working relationships with all team members.
  • Possess and maintain thorough knowledge of machines and techniques in this industry and/or similar industries.
  • Meet daily production output & quality requirements.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the immediate supervisor.
