About the role

Fartech Engineering Pte Ltd is seeking a talented and dedicated Assembly Technician to join our team in the Kaki Bukit East Region. In this full-time role, you will be responsible for the assembly and testing of our state-of-the-art mechanical engineering products. Your attention to detail and problem-solving skills will be crucial in ensuring the high quality and performance of our offerings.

What you'll be doing

  • Assemble mechanical components and systems according to engineering specifications and quality standards

  • Perform functional testing and quality checks on assembled products

  • Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that arise during the assembly process

  • Maintain accurate records and documentation of the assembly process

  • Collaborate with the engineering team to identify opportunities for process improvements

  • Ensure a safe and organised work environment

What we're looking for

  • Minimum 2 years of experience as an assembly technician or in a similar role within the mechanical engineering industry

  • Strong mechanical aptitude and the ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and schematics

  • Proficient in the use of hand tools, power tools, and measuring instruments

  • Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

  • Good communication and documentation skills

  • Diploma or certificate in Mechanical Engineering or a related field is preferred
