About the role
Fartech Engineering Pte Ltd is seeking a talented and dedicated Assembly Technician to join our team in the Kaki Bukit East Region. In this full-time role, you will be responsible for the assembly and testing of our state-of-the-art mechanical engineering products. Your attention to detail and problem-solving skills will be crucial in ensuring the high quality and performance of our offerings.
What you'll be doing
Assemble mechanical components and systems according to engineering specifications and quality standards
Perform functional testing and quality checks on assembled products
Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that arise during the assembly process
Maintain accurate records and documentation of the assembly process
Collaborate with the engineering team to identify opportunities for process improvements
Ensure a safe and organised work environment
What we're looking for
Minimum 2 years of experience as an assembly technician or in a similar role within the mechanical engineering industry
Strong mechanical aptitude and the ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and schematics
Proficient in the use of hand tools, power tools, and measuring instruments
Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Good communication and documentation skills
Diploma or certificate in Mechanical Engineering or a related field is preferred
