Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Food Service Manager to oversee the daily operations of our dining facilities. As a Food Service Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and general appearance of the dining room, as well as directing and scheduling kitchen and bar staff.

The ideal candidate will have excellent sales skills, customer service skills, and leadership abilities. They will also possess good communication skills, organizational skills, and knowledge of relevant legislation and regulations.

  • Greet customers and answer their questions about menu items and specials
  • Take food or drink orders from customers
  • Relay customers' orders to other kitchen staff
  • Prepare food and drink orders, such as sandwiches, salads, and coffee
  • Accept payments and balance receipts
  • Serve food and drinks to customers at a counter, at a stand, or in a hotel room
  • Clean assigned work areas, dining tables, or serving counters
  • Replenish and stock service stations, cabinets, and tables

The Food Service Manager will also be responsible for training, motivating, and evaluating the performance of kitchen and bar staff.
