Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Resident Technical Officer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for implementing and sustaining the site supervision quality & safety assurance system.

The Resident Technical Officer will perform regular site checks on contractors to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations. This includes managing proper site documentation, including ongoing works, meetings, safety records, method statements, shop drawings, and as-built submissions.

The role requires strong knowledge of authorities and client requirements and regulations for construction. Additionally, the successful candidate must have a valid RTO certificate from IES, Singapore and a minimum of 3 to 5 years' site experience as RTO in Singapore for Civil Engineering projects.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Implement and sustain the site supervision quality & safety assurance system.
  2. Perform regular site checks on contractors to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
  3. Manage proper site documentation, including ongoing works, meetings, safety records, method statements, shop drawings, and as-built submissions.
  4. Assist on-site to ensure all works meet regulatory and client requirements.
  5. Coordinate with the Consultant's PM/SOR to verify contractor's work progress and claims.
Requirements
  • Diploma/Degree in Civil & Structural Engineering with a valid RTO certificate from IES, Singapore.
  • Min. 3 to 5 years' site experience as RTO in Singapore for Civil Engineering projects.
  • Strong knowledge of authorities and client requirements and regulations for construction.
