Portfolio Implementation Role

This role involves leading and executing equities portfolio activities, including injections, withdrawals, rebalancing, and transitions. Key responsibilities include recommending and implementing hedging or equitisation strategies, generating trade orders, and monitoring portfolio risk and performance.

To be successful in this position, you should have a strong understanding of market landscape, investment products, trading, and portfolio construction, particularly in public equities. Experience with portfolio management and/or trading systems, along with proficiency in data analysis and process automation, is also essential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and execute equities portfolio activities
  • Recommend and implement hedging or equitisation strategies
  • Generate trade orders and manage compliance checks
  • Monitor portfolio risk and performance
  • Collaborate closely with portfolio managers, traders, and other internal teams

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree or relevant certification preferred
  • 5-10+ years of experience in portfolio implementation, index portfolio management, or trading within a leading asset management firm
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
  • Experience with portfolio management and/or trading systems, along with proficiency in data analysis and process automation
