Job Summary

We are seeking a seasoned professional to lead equities portfolio activities, including injections, withdrawals, rebalancing, and transitions. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, excellent communication abilities, and experience in portfolio implementation or trading within a leading asset management firm.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and execute equities portfolio activities, including injections, withdrawals, rebalancing, and transitions.
  • Recommend and implement hedging or equitization strategies using physical and derivatives for cash/tilt management.
  • Generate trade orders, propose and send orders, manage compliance checks, liaise with traders to ensure best execution.
  • Monitor portfolio risk, performance, and exposures, including cash flows; ensure adherence to defined tracking error thresholds.
  • Optimize transition costs throughout all stages of portfolio implementation.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree or relevant certification preferred.
  • 5-10+ years of experience in portfolio implementation, index portfolio management, or trading within a leading asset management firm, preferably in public equities.
  • Strong understanding of the market landscape, investment products, trading, and portfolio construction, particularly in public equities.
  • Proven ability to manage complex projects and multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Experience with portfolio management and/or trading systems, along with proficiency in data analysis and process automation.
