Financial Analyst Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented Financial Analyst to play a critical role in semiconductor manufacturing costing, financial planning, and analysis. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with cost accounting, P&L management, and semiconductor manufacturing costing.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, P&L statements, management dashboards, and variance analysis.
  • Analyse production costs, inventory valuation, and semiconductor manufacturing costing structures.
  • Partner with operations, engineering, and supply chain teams to support cost control and efficiency initiatives.
  • Support annual budgeting, rolling forecasts, and long-range financial planning.
  • Conduct CAPEX analysis, investment evaluations, and ROI assessments.
  • Ensure compliance with internal controls, audit requirements, and accounting standards (IFRS/SOX).

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related discipline.
  • At least 3 - 5 years of experience in finance or FP&A, preferably within the semiconductor or high-tech manufacturing sector.
  • Strong expertise in cost accounting, P&L management, and semiconductor manufacturing costing.
  • Proficiency in Excel and ERP systems (e.g., SAP).
  • Strong presentation skills, with the ability to clearly present financial data and insights to corporate stakeholders and management.
  • Hands-on, able to multitask, and with a strong can-do attitude.
  • Excellent communication and business partnering skills across functions.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, regional or global working environment.

Additional Information:

  • Familiarity with semiconductor processes (e.g., wafer fabrication, assembly & test).
  • Experience working across Southeast Asia or APAC finance operations is an advantage.
