Procurement Specialist

The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the procurement process, including sourcing materials and services, negotiating contracts, and ensuring timely delivery of goods.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and select suppliers based on cost, quality, and lead time.
  • Manage purchase orders from creation to fulfillment.
  • Track shipments and resolve any delivery issues that may arise.
  • Maintain accurate documentation on purchasing activities.
  • Negotiate contracts and pricing with suppliers to optimize value.
  • Work closely with internal stakeholders to align purchasing activities with operational requirements.
  • Conduct market research to stay informed about industry pricing and potential new vendors.
  • Ensure all purchasing activities comply with internal controls and applicable regulations.

Requirements:

  • A degree in Supply Chain Management or a related field.
  • 2-4 years of experience in procurement or purchasing functions.
  • Experience in the Semiconductor, Automotive, or Electronic Manufacturing industry is highly preferred.
  • Familiarity with modern sourcing strategies and procurement workflows.
  • Proficient in using ERP systems or procurement platforms.
  • Solid understanding of import/export regulations.
  • Professional certifications are advantageous.
  • Willingness to travel if necessary.
