Data Analyst in Computational Genomics

We are seeking a skilled individual to join our bioinformatics team as a Data Analyst in Computational Genomics. The ideal candidate will have experience in NGS data analytics, single-cell analysis, and bioinformatics skills such as programming, analytical pipeline development, data visualization, and cloud computing platforms.

Key Responsibilities
  • Analyze and interpret single-cell and multi-omics data with the support of wet lab scientists and customer support teams.
  • Develop, test, and optimize analytical pipelines for efficient results delivery.
  • Communicate complex experimental designs and results to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Prioritize tasks to ensure timely delivery of high-quality results.
Requirements
  • A master's or PhD degree in computational biology, bioinformatics, or a related field.
  • A proven track record in analyzing and interpreting genomic and NGS data.
  • Ability to collaborate closely with project teams and experimental collaborators to design studies and develop analyses that answer scientific questions.
  • Familiarity with relevant analytical approaches and their underlying assumptions.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with excellent reasoning abilities.
  • Proficiency in Python/R and shell/bash scripting within Linux/Unix environments.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills to prioritize needs and achieve goals.
  • A strong team player who can also work independently with minimal supervision.
  • A proactive learner with good trouble-shooting skills.
