Job Summary

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled General Counsel to lead our legal team in the Asia Pacific region. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for providing strategic legal advice and guidance to our business operations in the region.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Regional Leadership: Act as the primary point of contact for our senior management team in the APAC region, providing legal guidance and support to drive business growth and success.
  2. Regulatory Engagement: Lead engagements with regulators and other governmental stakeholders across the region, ensuring compliance with all relevant laws and regulations.
  3. Global Privacy and Data Protection: Advise on global privacy and data processing issues, ensuring that our privacy program evolves in line with global regulatory requirements.
  4. Team Management: Manage and develop a team of lawyers in the APAC region, providing guidance and support to ensure the delivery of high-quality legal services.
  5. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Build and maintain positive relationships with our leadership team and cross-functional partners, promoting the expertise and services of our legal team across the company.
  6. Risk Management: Collaborate with our General Counsel and Legal team to evaluate and communicate legal risks to internal stakeholders and external parties.
Requirements
  • Solicitor qualification and work authorization in Singapore.
  • Minimum of 12 years of post-qualification legal experience at a law firm or in-house.
  • Fluency in English.
